Join CDA’s Stage & Screen dance Summer School at The Albany Theatre, Deptford. 4 days, 3 hours a day. All dance styles, including extracts of choreography from the Wicked the Movie & We Will Rock you the Musical !
We’re also welcoming a special guest teacher, an assistant choreographer from Strictly Come Dancing, who will lead a fun and energetic Charleston workshop, giving the children a taste of what it’s like to dance on one of the UK’s biggest shows!
Our Rising Stars will dance, train, create, and on the final day, perform to parents and guardians in a mini showcase at the Main hall, where the young dancers will shine and showcase what they’ve been wokring on.

Our Classes *
At Crystal Dance Academy, our Mini Movers & Next Gen classes are all about learning, growing, and having fun! Split into two age groups, we train across a wide range of dance styles including Street, Jazz, Commercial, Lyrical/Contemporary & Musical Theatre. Focusing on strong foundations in flexibility, strength, and technique - all while keeping the energy high and the supportive.
Each session includes playful warm-up games, creative routines, and the space to express yourself through movement. We celebrate progress, encourage confidence, and most importantly, make sure everyone leaves class with a smile.
At the end of the year, our dancers will take to the stage and get the chance to perform what they’ve learned in an exciting end-of-year show, providing them the opportunity and experience to shine on stage and celebrate their progress!

Rising Stars
FOR 8-11 YEARS
Starting this September, our Rising Stars class is the perfect introduction to dance for children aged 8–11. Running in line with school terms, each weekly session explores a variety of style, from street/commercial to jazz and musical theatre - all in a fun, supportive environment that builds confidence, coordination, and creativity.
Throughout the year, students will work towards an exciting end-of-year show, giving them the chance to shine on stage and celebrate everything they’ve learned.

Next Gen
FOR 12-16 YEARS
Our Next Gen classes are designed for passionate young dancers ready to push themselves further, build technique, and grow in confidence across a wide range of dance styles - including street/commercial, lyrical, jazz, and musical theatre.
Running in line with school terms, these sessions provide a dynamic, supportive space to train, create, and perform — all while working towards an exciting end-of-year show where students can take the stage and showcase their progress.
